Waddington Cemetery is just across the road from where I live, yet has been the most frustrating to complete. I’m not a terribly superstitious person, but I was beginning to wonder if someone or something didn’t want me to finish photographing the cemetery.
Each time I visited I was plagued by technical glitches or dead batteries. On one occasion I took a nasty tumble backwards over the edge of a gravestone I had not noticed while backing up to take a picture – the camera slammed to the ground and made a horrid tinkling sound.
Luckily it survived – but I came away a bit dazed and bruised.
UNMARKED GRAVES
You’ll notice some of the listings are in red, and have no images to accompany them. These are the records of burials in Waddington with which no gravestones are now associated – unmarked graves.
If you know of a Waddington burial that is not listed, please let me know so I can research and update the records.
Happy Hunting!

Spooky! And yes…people don’t realise we take our lives in our hands when we photograph graves
…i’m ALWAYS looking behind me when i photograph… debris and uneven ground is everywhere!
