It’s hard to believe that in just a few weeks it will be the “anniversary”, for want of a better word, of the 7.1 earthquake (Sept 4 2010) that devastated many cemeteries. What a year it’s been with almost 7,400 aftershocks.
In October it will be a year since I started photographing the cemeteries.
My poor old camera is feeling the strain so I’d better be good for Santa this year! Nevertheless, I have managed to update the following this month:
Greendale Cemetery – COMPLETE
Darfield – St Joseph’s Roman Catholic – COMPLETE
Glentunnel – South Malvern Cemetery – updated
Kimberley Cemetery – updated
It’s been great to hook some of you up with others researching family, too. Don’t forget to let me know of any connections or discoveries you have made via Hunting Kiwis.
Happy Hunting!
