Glentunnel – South Malvern Cemetery

South Malvern Cemetery is located on the outskirts of the small township of Glentunnel in the Selwyn District of Canterbury, New Zealand (South Island).

The first recorded burial to take place in this rural cemetery was in 1880.

The pillars of the entrance gate to South Malvern Cemetery also serve as a war memorial. Three plaques are embedded in the stone pillars.

Cemeteries close to South Malvern (Glentunnel) include Darfield Catholic, Kimberley, Waddington and Springfield.
