Photography has begun at Kimberley Cemetery

A very Happy New Year to all my readers. I hope you all find what you are looking for – whether in life or in the archives!

This quick update is to let you all know that I have started work on Kimberley Cemetery. This small, rural cemetery is located close to Darfield and has no church associated with it.

Herbert John Mathias - A True Colonist

The first interment was in 1879 and there are many burials for the families of KNIGHT, REED and MANSON – some of whom hail from the nearby Racecourse Hill property.  The original house at Racecourse Hill was constructed around 1870 by the Deans family. It was later enhanced by a subsequent owner,  Mr A. J. Knight.

Check back often as more details are added each week.
