Photography has begun at Kimberley Cemetery

A very Happy New Year to all my readers. I hope you all find what you are looking for – whether in life or in the archives!

This quick update is to let you all know that I have started work on Kimberley Cemetery. This small, rural cemetery is located close to Darfield and has no church associated with it.

Herbert John Mathias - A True Colonist

The first interment was in 1879 and there are many burials for the families of KNIGHT, REED and MANSON Рsome of whom hail from the nearby Racecourse Hill property.  The original house at Racecourse Hill was constructed around 1870 by the Deans family. It was later enhanced by a subsequent owner,  Mr A. J. Knight.

Check back often as more details are added each week.
